Life's challenges can feel like a constant storm, and for many, undiagnosed or misdiagnosed mental health issues create cumulative "micro-traumas." These small, unnoticed wounds can distort how we see ourselves and the world, impacting our relationships and ability to navigate life with ease. Over time, these unresolved struggles can lead to emotional and cognitive distress that’s hard to untangle on our own.
At Harmony Heals, we offer compassionate, personalized counseling for adults and teens navigating life’s complexities. We understand that past traumas, whether from childhood, emotional wounds, or misdiagnoses, shape the way we view the world. These invisible scars can leave us feeling disconnected, overwhelmed, and stuck in a constant fight-or-flight response, even if we’re not consciously aware of it.
Our goal is to help you reframe your experiences and heal from these hidden wounds. Using trauma-informed, evidence-based techniques, we’ll help you understand how past events have shaped your mental health and how to rewrite these patterns. We’ll work together to break free from cycles that no longer serve you, teaching you tools for emotional regulation, trauma processing, and reconnecting with your true self.
Through a mind-body approach, we’ll address how your nervous system holds onto past stress and help you build resilience, emotional clarity, and a stronger sense of control. At Harmony Heals, we provide a safe space to reflect, heal, and shift from merely surviving to thriving --empowering you to engage with your brain and body in healthier, more balanced ways.
At Harmony Heals, we understand that healing involves uncovering the layers of experiences that have shaped us. Life’s challenges, both big and small, often leave lasting impressions that impact how we perceive ourselves and the world. We’re here to help you identify and address these hidden influences, empowering you to break free from old patterns and reconnect with your true self. Our goal isn’t to erase the past, but to transform its impact, allowing you to move forward with greater clarity, emotional balance, and resilience.
We provide tailored counseling to help individuals overcome life’s challenges, heal from past trauma, and cultivate emotional wellness. Our services include one-on-one therapy for stress, anxiety, burnout, and unresolved trauma, as well as teen counseling focused on building emotional resilience and supporting identity development.
Our approach blends deep understanding, compassion, and practical tools for transformation. We prioritize identifying the root causes of your struggles and working holistically with both your mind and body. Our trauma-informed methods create a safe space for exploration and healing, while evidence-based therapies like EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and somatic practices help you process past wounds and shift unhelpful patterns.
By focusing on your nervous system, we aim to restore balance, reduce stress, and empower you to address past trauma. Whether it’s the pressure of balancing personal responsibilities, managing mental health, or navigating societal expectations, life can sometimes feel like a constant juggling act. It’s easy to lose sight of who we truly are when we’re caught in the cycle of trying to meet everyone else’s needs. You don’t have to navigate this alone anymore. I bring nearly 20 years of experience in the mental health field, combining professional expertise with personal understanding of the unique challenges we all face in a world that often demands more than is sustainable.
With my extensive background in mental health, I have spent years helping individuals overcome emotional struggles, build resilience, and reconnect with their true selves. In addition to my professional training, I’m currently pursuing doctoral studies in this field, driven by a passion for helping others and a commitment to staying at the forefront of the most recent research and therapeutic practices. This ongoing dedication allows me to continuously enhance the support I offer, ensuring that I’m providing the most effective, evidence-based strategies to those I work with.
I’m a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) under the supervision of Cassidi Beckstein, LPC, and I offer therapy that’s trauma-informed, identity-affirming, and grounded in evidence-based practices like EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), mindfulness, and nervous system regulation. I work with individuals of all genders, helping clients heal from trauma, manage stress, and rebuild after burnout. Whether you're facing challenges in relationships, dealing with past wounds, or adjusting to a major life transition, our work together will focus on safety, connection, and reclaiming your sense of self.
I welcome and celebrate the diversity of those who walk through my door, recognizing that each person’s experience is unique. You don’t need to “fix” yourself to fit any mold. My goal is to help you reconnect with who you truly are and learn how to care for yourself in a way that works for you. When you’re ready to stop surviving and start thriving, I’m here to walk with you, one step at a time.
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a therapy designed to help people heal from trauma, distressing memories, and overwhelming experiences. It uses guided eye movements or other forms of bilateral stimulation to help the brain reprocess painful memories, so they no longer feel as upsetting. EMDR is evidence-based and often leads to faster healing than traditional talk therapy alone.
EMDR can also be helpful for individuals with ADHD, especially when attention challenges are connected to past trauma, chronic stress, or emotional dysregulation. By reducing internal distress, EMDR can improve focus, emotional balance, and self-awareness.
Internal Family Systems (IFS) is a gentle, evidence-based therapy that helps you explore and understand the different “parts” within yourself like the inner critic, the protector, or the overwhelmed child. Rather than pushing these parts away, IFS invites you to connect with them from a place of compassion and curiosity.
This approach is especially helpful for individuals living with trauma or ADHD. It supports emotional regulation, builds self-trust, and helps reduce inner conflict through creating more clarity, calm, and connection in daily life.
